Raise ,000 for Red Cross NEW YORK, N. Y., April 14.— The Red Cross was one of the principal beneficiaries of the recent one-day meeting held at Mid-dleburg, Va., under the auspices of the United Hunts Racing Association. Fred Parks, who officiated as racing secretary and handicapper for the one-day venture, reported today that a check for ,000 was donated to that association. This donation is one of the many that will be presented to the Red Cross by the United Hunts and associated bodies during the course of the year.
