CHICONA, in hand to the upper turn, came. out sliehtly entering the stretch and, responding to punishment, disposed of TOTAL ECLIPSE to win going away. The latter assumed command early, made the pace to the final eighth under good handling, but could not withstand the winner. VERIS, reserved to the last three eiahths. finished fast on the outside. SCOTCH BREAD failed to stay when set down for the drive. REALMAN came to the inside entering the stretch and closed strongly. ALIMONY KID gave way after raring prominently to the stretch.
