DETAINED improved her position from the inside, was hard urged through the stretch and outlasted DISSENSION SIR. The latter contributed to TALK OVERS defeat, swung out entering the stretch and held on. althouali not quite good enough. TALK OVER lost ground while setting the pace and, although forced to give way, held the others safe. EVER STAR was rushed up and hung after entering the stretch. GALFUL raced on the inside. OUR STYLE, steadied early, rushed up approaching the stretch and was up under vigorous handling. HYPERHELIO came up fast in the dme, duck.d over as JOHN SABO fell back and closed very fast. BOB MURPHY, hustled away, was eased from inside to outside, lost ground and might have been closer under better handling. SWEET COMET outran the field briefly but cc j not hold her speed. JOHN SABO raced in improved fashion, showed speed and tired somewhat in the drive. BIG CREEK showed nothing. BRIGHT STEEL was away very slowly and was rushed early. He will improve. BLUE MATE, hustled to the front, was always hard pressed and just lasted over HUSTLING DOM. The latter reached the winner at the furlong pole, attempted repeatedly to overhaul BLUE MATE, but was not good enough. BODENS PAL, away slowly and forced to lose much ground, closed strongly. PETES KID had the mosf speed from the ttart, gave way to the winner and fell back. VALDINA VIVO went forward briefly GAMBLERS GIRL was never a serious factor. TEDDYS TEA raced closes*, rushed up entering the stretch, but w.ts not good enough. BUDS FIRST raced evenlv. The others were outrun. Scratched— 78814 Black Thrush, 105.
