GALLORETTE was hard held while following the early pace, forged to the front and won with speed to spare. ELPIS was saved behind the early leaders, moved up menacingly, but was not good enough. MONSOON, unprepared for the start, propped at the break, but moved up gradually, only to tire near the end. BELPAST and TRANS-FLINT were overmatched and quit badly after showing early speed. LOST AND FOUND cut out the earlv running under bust | tactics and held on fairly well for the show. PRESSCRE moved menaringlv on the final turn, then flattened out. FAIR ANN ran an even race. OGOODY dwelt at the start and showed a good effort thereafter. NORA BELLE alternated in forcing and setting the pace to the eighth post, then folded up.
