Fishers Dixiana livery might very well be flaunted triumphantly in two of the three j features to be offered tomorrow at the Fair j Grounds. Amber Light looks like "the one | to beat" in the principal event, the 0,000 Cadillac Handicap, a six-furlong test for I three-year-olds and older, and in the ,000 ! valued Colts and Geldings Purse, an exclu-; sive two-year-old contest over four and one-half furlongs, it would not be surprising if j Spy Song proved victorious. He established track record in his first start at Hawthorne. Twelve are to compete in the Cadillac, with some of these being: Mrs. Roy Car-ruthers Jimmie. runner-up to Amber Light in the opening day Boots and Saddle Handicap; H. H. Fausetts Grey Days, fourth in the same race, and C. F. Martins Believe, hero of the mile and one-sixteenth Man o War Handicap. The supporting event is the ,500 Cavalcade Handicap, at a mile and one-sixteenth, and apparently Lt. Comdr. Theodore D. Buhls Air Sailor, imposted with 121 pounds and thereby seven pounds above scale, has the prize at his mercy. Pitted against the Sweep Like offspring are : Vienna Waltz, a filly not to be taken too lightly and in with I 104 pounds; Ted Lewis, who already has! Last year Amber Light had to put up with Black Badge, the latter trimming the Dixiana five-year-old on a few occasions, now the Pilate offspring has Jimmie probably his stanchest rival. For this engagement the Carruthers colorbearer picks up five pounds, to carry 114, and Amber Light four more. The race appears "on paper" to be be-; tween Amber Light and Jimmie. The latter very good when he is good. Rounding out the field are Anthem, Sweepgold, who failed to hold off Royafe the Dearborn Handicap; Hydrant, who sometimes displays a penchant for speed; [Elray, My Tet Rambler, Miss Advice and Tulachmore. While Spy Song will doubtless attract the of the wagering, support in the Colt Geldings Purse there is bound to be considerable backing given Bomar Stables Bumps, who literally "swamped" a fair of juveniles opening day, including rather fancied Bob Murphy. The Grand Slam offspring on that occasion also whipped Gregalach and Wee Admiral, both whom are entered in tomorrows event. Gregalach closed very impressively in that effort, but in a later essay he failed to contention and finished third behind Ace and Zaca Bill. Among other entrants is A. F. Walls highly regarded Sir Pennant. This youngster won at Narragansett and is re-jputed to be more than just a flash". Rounding out the field are Mel Crosby, L. Moore and Little Keith.
