TEDDY CHICK, a prominent factor from the beginning while saving ground, slipped through next to the inside rail to take command inside of the stretch and won drawing away. ONE TWELVE was hustled to the front immediately after the start, then held on tenaciously thereafter in a sharp effort. PRINCESS PRIM drifted out on the final turn and through the stretch, but finished with good courage. GEMCO failed to make up appreciable ground. MAURETANIA failed to respond when roused for the drive. BEAM 0 LIGHT was outrun. CHALA was unable to keep up. SHOPPIN SHOES and IF AND WHEN were never prominent. MAGGIE G. dropped back steadily from a rapid beginning. SWEET IRENE showed nothing. CARRYALL made the pace to the stretch under steady rating and increased his advantage thereafter under a steady hand ride. BRUSH MOUTH came out for the drive, was under hard urging, but could not seriously menace the winner. EXCITABLE MARY raced forwardly placed from the outset while between horses, then faltered when called upon for her best effort. COLD SPY had no apparent excuse. LUCKY DOG was through early. SPUNKY raced in nearest attendance to the early leader, came out for the drive to take command entering the stretch and, in a long drive, held SLAMMING SLAM safe. The latter gave way to the winner after three furlongs, then appeared to come again at the finish. MISS PLACE failed to respond when shaken up for the final test HOWDY U ALL had no mishap. LOVE YOU passed tiring horses. UNCLE SHOOT tired. LYNN Z. and SHORTY lacked speed. BERKELEY flashed brief speed, then quit. AWAKENED and OUR COUSIN were always far back. FIRST PAL steadily improved his position on the outside to take command inside the stretch and drew clear under brisk urging. MASICO LAD gave way to the winner midway of the final furlong, then held on willingly to be best of the others. FLASH FLOOD showed good speed from the outset, but lacked a menacing rally. SUN UMBER closed with a belated burst of speed, but was not good enough. GOOD HEAVENS had no mishap. WHATANURSE retired steadily from a fast beginning. HADHAMAUT raced wide throughout. ALPHARA was unhurried when outrun in the -early stages, came to the outside for the stretch run and, after disposing of LAMBENT, won drawing away when fully extended. LAMBENT held a slight lead when settled for the drive, gave way to the winner while tiring, but had enough left to earn a dead-heat with BAD PLAY. The latter held on willingly during the final furlong to finish on even terms with LAMBENT. FLYING RAID faltered when called upon for her best effort. PUSSY WILLOW failed to stay after showing early speed. BROWNSTOWN was never dangerous. BELFAST LASS gave a listless performance. SIXTH RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. SQUARED AWAY began sluggishly, then closed resolutely when set down for the final, test. DJYMY caught tiring horses. AUNT DORA was much used engaging for the initial advantage and had little left BEST DEGREE was through after a half mile. GO JEEP GO bolted on the far turn and lost all chance. BOGALUSA finished fast on the extreme outside. STAR PIGEON, in close quarters entering the stretch, could not threaten when clear. DREAM WALKING was never dangerous. LEO P. McL., in light quarters coming to the upper turn, could not keep up thereafter. COMPARE went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then gave way JUMPING JUDY was far back throughout. IN COMMAND, away fast and a sharp factor from the start, responded readily when set down through the stretch and, after disposing of RICHWOOD BOY held JUNE AYR. The latter in hand and racing evenly to the stretch, closed willingly under urging but could not overtake the winner. RICHWOOD BOY assumed an early lead, made the pace until Inside the stretch then faltered. DO-DO finished well and had no mishap. MAJOR NICK tired after racing prominently to the stretch. APPLEJACK raced wide. SCHOLAR TIME was never dangerous. DUFFLE could not keep up. ROMAN HOLIDAY broke well but bore to the outside immediately after the start and was pulled up to avoid striking the outer rail.
