Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. FIRST DEGREE was reserved from the early pace, went to the front when ready on the final turn and won as his rider pleased. PETROSE GIRL outsprinted the field into the first turn, gave way to the winner after six furlongs, then held on willingly to be. best of the others. SEA COMMAND was unable to improve his position while saving ground during the late stages. BUSY SIS was never prominent TRIER had no mishap. BREAKAGE failed to stay. LIMERICK BOY showed nothing. WINTAG went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch under good rating and, responding readily when shaken up easily retained a clear advantage. FRERE JACQUES never far back and well handled closed resolutely under urging but could not menace the winner. SCOTCH BIM, sharp factor from the start, made a mild bid entering the stretch, then faltered. FLOATING failed to rally when set down in the drive. FLATBUSH tired after showing early speed. REIGHS COMET was outrun. SGT. ABE was through early. McCOSH never was a serious factor and had no excuse.. SIR SPRITE showed nothing. Attendance, 25,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, ,368,585.
