FLYING SANDY, steadied until in the backstretch the second time, went up on the outside with a rush to displace the leaders and won fully, extended. MERRY MARY, probably best, was pinched back going into the first turn, was in close quarters on the second turn and again going into the final turn, forced her way through and closed fastest. STATIC CHASER weakened in the final furlong. LIBERATE was in close quarters going into the final turn. LIQUID BREEZE made the pace until the final furlong and gave way suddenly. SAFETY LOCK was outrun. BELETINO and FIRSTBOURNE tired. LITTLE BOBBLES, eased back on the inside going into the first turn, took command when clear passing the stands the first time, drew away under restraint and held OVER NIGHT safe under strong hand urging. The latter was prominent from the start, finished well, but did not seriously menace the winner. THANK YOU SIR closed strongly after a slow beginning. LUCKY CODINE was outrun. RICHAVOO had no excuse.
