XL » i - - ». ■* One-Day Strike Ends MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., May 6 UP.— A one-day strike of stereotypers against the Minneapolis Star and Tribune ended today with the granting of a two-cent hourly wage increase. The settlement was announced jointly by management and Local 16, A. F. L., Stereotypers Union. A factfinding commission had recommended a four-cent increase for night work, none for days. Executives and supervisors manned the stereotyping department during the strike yesterday and helped produce editions of both the Star and Morning Tribune.
