Engagement Announced Of Miss Virginia Strub PASADENA, Calif., June 29.— Dr. and Mrs. Charles H. Strub of 1050 Oak Grove Avenue, Pasadena, announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Virginia Strub, to Francis E. Kelly, Jr., son of Mr, and Mrs. Francis E. Kelly, of Johnstown, Pa., and Christiansburg, Va., at a tea held at the River Club, New York City, yesterday. The bride-to-be, formerly of San Francisco, is an alumna of Marymount, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. She is a member of the Junior League of Pasadena. Mr. Kelly graduated from Duke University in 1947 and is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. During World War II. he served with the 28th Infantry Division of the United States Army. He is associated with First Investors Corporation of New York. The wedding will take place in Pasadena in the early fall. The young couple plan to make their home in New York.
