REBATE, away alertly, dropped back fter the start and raced evenly to the stretch, was sent to the outside into the better going for he drive and, fter giving way momentarily to LONGHORN near the finish, came again and lasted to withstand the latter. .ONGHORN raced evenly and far back for a half mile, was on the extreme outside for the stretch run and, fter attaining command, stumbled and could not hold the winner. GRACIOUS HEART lacked early speed, but inished fast in the middle of the track. DONQUEST, a sharp factor after the start, held a short lead entering he stretch, but tired afte racing prominently to the stretch. KIBBITZ could not keep up. TRY IKE had early peed, but failed to stay. LADY BELL broke well, but dropped far back after the start. MAGNUS steadily worked way forward 0 the stretch, assumed command, then drew clear and won with something left. WILD HEIRESS, much used sngaging CLAY PIGEON to the stretch, drifted out during the drive and could not threaten the top one. CLAY »IGE0N raced with WILD HEIRESS until inside the stretch, then faltered. TECHNICOLOR lacked early speed ind was never a serious threat. BOWLED OVER coul dnot keep up after showing early speed. CRACKERJACK jave way after racing forwardly to the stretch. HI BOB was far back after the start. SO GRAND went to the front early, was kept to the inside throughout and, after establishing a clear lead entering the stretch, lasted to hold ALLOCATION safe. The latter, taken back slightly when his rider attempted to go through on the inside of 50 GRAND at the upper turn, closed strongly when set down through the stretch, but could not overtake the top one. A claim of foul lodged by ALLOCATIONS rider against the winer was not allowed by the stewards. MR. TWEETY moved up fast on the outside after the opening guarter, but faltered during the drive. THE TROUBADOR was never dangerous. PIXEY SAL began fast, but could not keep up after showing brief speed LIGHT OPERA was far back throughout. LEAS SON was through early. LANDMARK GAL, on the outside throughout, gradually improved position to the stretch, responded readily when hard urged during the drive f;nd wore down OUR PEGGY in the last strides. OUR PEGGY assumed an early lead, raced PIXIE PAT into rJefeat before entering the stretch and continued resolutely, but was unable to withstand the winner. NIGHT FOG, never far back, raced wide through the stretch and could not get to the leaders. LADY POMP bore out puring the last three-eighths. PIXIE PAT engaged OUR PEGGY to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. THISTLE WAR began sluggishly. OUR CINDY failed to stay after showing early speed. FREDERICKA W vas outrun. KISSES HEART showed nothing. CONNIE-JO was through early and bore out while tiring luring the stretch run. HOPTOWN had no mishap. MAGNETIC STAR went to the front at once, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating, established a long lead nearing the furlong pole and, cverconfidently ridden, lasted to withstand DARBY DOODIT. The latter, outrun to the stretch, responded to vigorous urging during the drive and, closing fast, was getting to the top one at the end. CHILLIA QUEEN gave a good effort and had no excuse. I0NA U. raced wide during the last three-eighths. ATOKA LAD made a good bid nearing the stretch, but tired badly when racing in the deepest part of the track for the drive MY JAM failed to keep up after showing early speed. ON WINGS tired badly after racing prominently to the upper turn and disliked the heavy track. On Wings claimed by Howe and Stucker. SIXTH RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. CONVICTED began fast, raced SORORITY into defeat before entering the stretch, responded to brisk urging and lasted to stall off OVER NIGHT. The latter, outrun early, was sent to the outside for the stretch run, closed strongly under hard urging and was getting to the winn r at the finish. WAR HOST went wide entering the stretch and could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. BONA ETERNAL was outrun. CHANCELOT raced wide throughout and was never a serious threat. SORORITY tired badly after racing with CONVICTED to the stretch and could not handle the heavy track. RINGADOR could not keep up. Scratched— 323572 Whammo, 114; 32358 Little Baboo, 112.
