PRIMATE, nicely rated in closest attendance to the early pace, was suddenly awakened -to take command when KING JOLIE made his move on the final turn, bore out entering the stretch and held C on determinedly under punishment while being forced in in the last strides. TOPSIDE, allowed to lag far 2 behind for more than six furlongs, saved ground rallying and easily passed the remainder, but was no threat " to the top pair. HANDSOME TEDDY, pocketed next to the rail while with the first flight, was under snug u restraint for five furlongs, but weakened when put to pressure. JAMPOL was well placed and put to hand "* urging after a half mile, but did not respond and steadily dropped back. ARMAGH was not dangerous. TOP -BET was outrun.
