Expresses Appreciation For Publishers Efforts EffortsBOSTON BOSTON Mass June 8 In an ad ¬ dress opening the nineteenth annual convention of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners today president D Thomas Testa speaking for the officers and members ac ¬ knowledged grateful appreciation of the efforts of J Samuel Perlxnan pub ¬ lisher of Daily Racing Form and The Morning Telegraph toward the ad ¬ vancement of the turf turfTesta Testa remarked I would indeed be remiss in my duty if I did not ac ¬ knowledge the sincere efforts of J Samuel Perlman publisher of the Tri ¬ angle Publications in promoting the welfare of the sport Time and time again he has raised his voice in de ¬ fense of the sport His counsel and advice have been made available on many occasions on matters relating to racing1 I am sure that I speak for you in acknowledging our high commenda ¬ tion and praise of his distinguished service in many phases of racing
