HiLos Forbes Sets New Worlds Harness Record RecordWESTBURY WESTBURY L I N Y June 8 Hi Los Forbes owned by Mr and Mrs E M Wagner of Landover Hills Md set a new worlds harness racing record of 1 58 for a halfmife course Saturday night in win ¬ ning the featured Port Washington Free forall Pace at Roosevelt Raceway a whole second off the old worlds mark of 159 set by Sampson Hanover at Dela ¬ ware Ohio in 1951 HiLos Forbes thus became the second horse in harness racing history ever to run the mile in less than 200 200General General manager Alfred G Valentine of Roosevelt Raceway presented HiLos Forbes owners with a bonus prize of 5000 Meadow Rice last years Little Brown Jug champion finished second and Thomas B Scott was third
