Trophy to Leading Rider RiderCRANWOOD CRANWOOD PARK Warrensville Heights Ohio June 9 As in earlier years the Cleveland News will award a trophy to the leading jockey at the conclusion of the current 35day Cranwood session Jockeys Jimmy Baird Stanley Austin and William Pool who have captured the prize previously are all in action at the suburban Cleveland track During the fall 1952 meeting Baird and Pool ended in a tie for honors Favorite to take the trophy this year i young Eddie Plesa who racked up a sensational total of 60 victories at the recent Ascot Park session
