SUSPENSIONS AT CONNEAUT CONNEAUT PARK, Pa.. July 1. Closing fast and gamely through the stretch. Sentimental just got up to beat American Eagle by a head in the Bessemer Handicap, which featured tho card at Conneaut Lako Park this afternoon. Mary G. was a distant third after cutting across in front of Shifty at tho second turn, causing tho latter to all but fall. Jockey Lux, who rode Mary G., was suspended for tho remainder of the meeting, as was Jockey E. Wells for a similar offense on Miss Adrianne. Following the running of tho feature race, the judges announced that owner E. Cox, trainer W. J. Marlman and the maro Puzzle : have been indefinitely suspended. Puzzle ! was entered by owner Cox in tho handicap for today, but was yesterday shipped away, presumably to Windsor, and no one appeared ! to havo her excused today. Cox also sold at private sale War Club to O. L. Foster, who was acting for R. J. Howell, and then departed himself for parts unknown.
