♦ — — BARN SWALLOWS GOOD WORK LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 17.— H. J. "Dick" Thompson brought Barn Swallow, Col. E. R. Bradleys Kentucky Oaks candidate, out after the running of the fourth race and worked her the Oaks distance of a mile and a furlong in 1:57. Commencing her trial at the eighth pole, the daughter of Black Servant and Blue Warbler covered the quarter in :25%, the half in :51%, the three-quarters in 1:19, and the mile in 1:44.
