PANIC RELIEF took command early, diew away under eood urging, responded well in the stretch and won with something left. BILLY I., forced to lost ground in the early stages, made up ground under presssure and finished strongest of all. PELORLA forced the pace under strong handling, but tired in the drive. TIME TO GO, shuffled back soon after the start and forced wide while improving his position, made up ground whea clear. SUN ASIA showed little. HILLTOWN took command soon after the start, drew away after disposing of RED GARTER, was steadied along thereafter and won easily. TORCH MAIDEN, away slowly and forced to work her way forward through the middle of the field, swerved to the inside entering the stretch, but held on well. PHALAROPE, badly handled and permitted to swerve repeatedly, came to the inside for the drive, was sliehtly impeded by TORCH MAIDEN and tired. FORGIVE showed a good effort under strong handling. The latter, well up from the start and en the outside, was forced wide entering the stretch and tired at the end. PEGGYS PEGGY worked her way forward steadily, came to the inside for the drive and held on well. SEYMOUR, outrun for three-eighths, closed with a rush. LITTLE TURTLE was outrun. OUR HARRY quit. ROYAL DURBAR, permitted to drop back after racing three eighths, came again when reaching the stretch and finished strongly. BLIGHTED HOPES quit. DONEE had speed.
