ROYAT, away well and not hurried early, responded well when called upon, reached SWEEP-GOLD from along the rail and finished strongly while drawing off. SWEEPGOLD, hustled to the front, was always hard put and gave tray stubbornly while holding the others safe. TRELAWNY. away slowU. do«ed impressively. MONO MILLFR. from a slow beginning, finished well. GOLDEN MAN, off in a t.mule wh;le starting from the outside, was hustled forward and tired from his efforts at trying to reach the pace. YALDINA DATE and VICTIM could not get sufticientlv clear early to contest. WISE PAISANO flattened out. RAY G. had some brief early speed. NOD could not keep up. JIMMIE. hustled to the fiont. showed the way under pressure and outlasted BEN GRAY. The latter, away slowly and forced to lose rodnd while working his way u£. charged fast from the outside through the stretch and just failed. SIR SPRITE was hard put to improve his position, rushed up entering the stretch and, although unable to overhaul the loaders, held on resolutely. MISS ADVICE was hustled to the first flight and tired through the final eighth. TETROS JR.. away fast, dropped back after three-eighths. GREY DAYS came up well, appeared la be going to the leaders rounding the far turn, then gave way. HENRY KNIGHT was done early. HYDRANT had some earlv speed. BE BRIEF could not keep up. BY CONSCRIPT went to the front from along the rail, swung out for the drive, had to be roused whf-n HORTDAL came again and was held to a drive to the end. HORTDAL gave way under pressure, swung to the inside of the winner alter entering the stretch, appeared to be capable of overhauling BY CONSCRIPT, but hung at the sixteenth post and gave way. DON DEVITO, outrun to the far turn, passed tiring horses. FIDDLERS BIT was rushed up early, carried out W. H. KELLY and MENEITHER at the first turn and gave way after five eighths. MENEITHER dropped back after being knocked off stride, came again rounding the far turn, but was not good enough. FETTACAIRN had some early speed. W. H. TOI.OR WEEK dropped back after the start, came forward gradually and closed strongly from the inside. GROUt TIERS BOY closed well. FLY WHISK could not keep up. DISSENSION SIR went forwardly from the outsid. and gave way after five-eighths. QUARTO, in close early and hurried when clear, gave way in the drive. Claimed — Dissension Sir by J. A. Kinard, Jr. Attendance, 12,079; Total Mutuel Pool, 38,319. Returned to Public, 94,488, Less Breakage.
