Michigan Notes FAIR GROUND, Detroit, Mich., June 21. Jockey Paul Keiper has severed connections with James Powers" Dearborn Stable and is riding free lance. R. J. Fischer housed seven horses he brought in from Churchill Downs. For Miss Anna Sparks he has Teris O Grady, for Lt. E. E. Gaar Black Fantasy and for himself Sun By, Vegas Pesty. Foulard. Seminole and Sweepnack. A. G. Lex" Wilson, who developed Air Sailor for Lt. Comdr. T. D. Buhl, has taken over the conditioning of Miss Boo, Swoon and two unnamed two-year-olds belonging to E. Gay Drake, well-known Kentucky breeder. W. J. Susini nf Laurel, Md., checked in from Narragansett Park with 11 head, comprising Squadron Girl, Alfhangrier, Pros pect Boy, Darby Divot, Stanlene. Kelspride, I Ask Me, Mr. Pharned, Display Flight. Play Stage and Moon Meadow. Attached to the stable is jockey Frank Munden. The veteran Tom Monroe, well-known attache of the racing secretary "s office, is i again serving here in his old capacity. Henry Forrest checked In from Churchill Downs with 14 head. Price Shuler plans on introducing a new 1 rider in the near future in the person of Frank Mueller, a local lad. He is 16 years of age and scales at 96 pounds. J. P. Hall arrived from Churchill Downs with the horses Bohemia, Supremo and Dandy Flag. Trainer Bruce Mclntire plans on shipping Sir Pennant, highly regarded two-year-old belonging to local patron A. F. Wall, to Chicago later on in the season for the renewal of the Arlington Futurity. d
