Wins Major League Debut PHILADELPHIA, Pa., April 29 UP.— Bob Miller, 24-year-old righthander up from Terre Haute, won his major league starting debut for the Philadelphia Phillies today, beating the Boston Braves, 2-1, with a masterful six-hitter. Miller, a Detroit native, started the rally which won the ball game with a single in the third frame.
