PIMLICO HONORS — Has advanced steadily in training and should be ready for debut this week. CHILOE H. — Trials indicate this one has improved in recent weeks and is atfout ready for a winning effort. MIDIANITE — All Maryland races have been good and any distance of ground seems suitable. MINNEAPOLIS— Won seasonal debut impressively and could again earn brackets even with an increase in claiming price. BUTLER— Always partial to the Pimlico strip and suitable race has been carded this week. HALTER — Being kept on edge nicely by trainer Charlie Shaw and should beat fair three-year-olds at six furlongs. SYRACUSE LAD — This fellow has some good trials over the local strip and should win early in the meeting. WORLD EMPRESS — Morning moves have been on the fast side and assure present fitness. BRIAR WHITE — Had very little success last year despite numerous good efforts. Needs only a fair share of racing luck. CAPE COD, JR. — Could surprise and beat a field of sprinters at this meeting. DIXIE YANK — Cheap router who is certain to find numerous suitable spots. HOBIE-B. — Claimed from last start for ,500 and should not be too long in winning himself out. PENNY HILL— Won seasonal debut impressively and could make it two in a row if not raised too much in claiming value. MARCH CHICK — Recent winning effort assures present fitness and the Pimlico track has always suited him.
