BEDFORD BUYS INTEREST IN GOLD HEELS. Lexington, Ky., January 27. Sidney Bedford, of Midway, has bought privately of Illnde and Baker, Mlllhrook Stud, a third interest in the great racehorse Gold Heels, winner of the Suburban aud Brighton Handicaps and Brighton Cup of 1002. Bedford will mate his entire lot of stud matrons to Gold Heels this season. Jerome C. Boardinan has resigned as treasurer of the New Louisville Jockey Club. Ills successor is Hamilton Applegate. Mr. Bourdinuu will continue as a director of the club. He resigned as treasurer because of lack of time necessary for the performance of the duties of the office.
