NOTES OF THE TURF. None of the stallions at Hamburg Place is offered for public service this season. Julins Bauer believes he has some decidedly excellent racing prospeets among his two-year-olds. W. O. Parmer has leased from Nathaniel Baxter nil the paddocks, pastures and barns at Belle Meade Fa nil. There is talk of Sunday racing at Palm Beach, Fla. It is to be hoped that the project will not materialize. Louis A. Cella denies the report, that he will attempt to operate a track at East St. Louis during the summer. Trainer Phillips Is expected at Louisville from New Orleans shortly to begin the active preparation of Fred Cooks two-year-olds for the spring and summer campaign.
