Keenc today refused an offer of 5,000 cash in hand for his contract on the services ot jockey Herman Radtke. The offer was made by Louis A. Cella. A. J. Polndexter, in whose name a horse was registered at Oaklawn as The Rake, called on Judge Bryan at the track this morning. He told the judge that be had purchased the horse from Lawson, who had been his owner ever since he was a yearling and that he was undoubtedly The Rake. Polndexter was ordered oft" the track and the horse is still in charge of a custodian. A closer scrutiny of the horse by Jack Keene today more clearly convinced him, so he declared, that the horse Is not the one that he owned under the name of The Rake.
