Robin Hood showed the most early peed and finished gamely. Polly Prim tired in the last eighth and was probably a bit short. Wild Range easily disposed of the others and fenced well, but could never get to the winner. Trourere outgamed Redman when it came to the final drive. The latter fenced well and showed the most early speed, but failed to stay. Moderator was as good as left at the post and Higgins pulled him up at every jump. Thistle Do outbroke the others and opened up a big lead while rounding the first turn, was taken under restraint on the backstretch and rated along in front and had something left when St. Tammany challenged in the homestretch and, shaking the latter off, won going away. St. Tammany saved ground on the turn into the homestretch, while the others went wide, and appeared the winner at the eighth post, but tired after getting to Thistle Do. Blue Dale finished fast and gamely under a drive and, catching Karama tiring, won going away. Karama showed extreme speed in the early stages, but tired in the closing drive. This colt has developed bucked shins since his last previous race and was probably a bit short. Lens got caught in a jam while rounding the far turn and was crowded back, the interference defeating him, as he lost four or five lengths. Boserrian ran well, but tired in the stretcli drive. Preciosa II. also suffered from interference and Jenkins was forced to pull up almost to a walk. Karama was disqualified for fouling and second place given to Lens and third to Boserrian. Padre began slowly and worked his way up on the outside, came through on the inside 011 the turn into the homestretch and opened up a winning lead, but was tlriug at the end. Double was well ridden, did his liest and had to stand a hard drive to stall off Tryon. The latter finished fast after making a wide turn into tha homestretch. Limerick Girl was speedy, but was much used in setting the pace and tired. Johu Garner ran fairly well. Tarp showed tiie most speed all the way, raced Daring and Garnish into defeat in the early stages and drew away in the last eighth. Daring ran well and .had to stand a hard drive to stall off Glrard. The latter saved ground when entering the homestretch and finished fast, but Lowe had messed him about on the first turn, or lie would probably have been a contender with the winner.
