Samelson, awav slowly, gradually improved his position. closed a big gap and finished going fast. Gisbock went wide into the stretch and tired fast in the final drive. Dancing Nun had no mishaps. Won easily; second the same. .Tacomo, evidently a good eolt, was outpaced badlv for the first quarter, but moved up with great speed when hard riddcil, wore down Jardiniere in the final furlong and won going away. Jardiniere, away well in motion, displayed a high order of speed, but tired near the end. Helen Clawson, away in a tangle,, put up a good performance, standing a hard drive well and finished going fast. Nissa ran a fairly good race under poor handling. Rather Royal followed the .winner closely for the first three-quarters, but it was on sufferance only. Red Leaf moving away when called on. Taby Tosa ran a good race for bis first out this year and was a sufferer from interference. Legatee tired badly after going three-quarters and is not of much account. Athena began with her usual slowness, but moved up on the stretch turn, then tired near the end. Dusky showed the most early speed, but was tiring fast in the last furlong. Viperine, badly handled, finished fast. Lily Brook quit. Bandillo was in the lest going for the entire trip. Aggie Lewis, away badly and poorly ridden, closed a big gap and ran a winning race. Sueer quit after going five furlongs.
