Kubclik fenced well and established a long lead, but tired and readily succumbed to the winner. Flea fenced well and appeared dangerous a quarter from home, but tired anil fell back. The latter got into second place at once and stayed there and was pressing Alierion hard at. the finish. Tom Gilroy ran to his best form and finished fast. Miss May Bowdish ran a surprisingly good race and, after turning wide into the stretch, came on with a remarkable display of speed for her. The Roustabout showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch and ran far below his receut good form.
