Filler saved ground all the way. but was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Duugau-non. The latter had to go around on the outside to get up and would have lieeu second iu another stride. Envoy showed a high order of speed, set a fast pace and might have won had Mclntyre resorted to hand riding Instead of going to his whip. Kargut did his best and could never get up.
