THREE ODDS-ON FAVORITES ARE BEATEN. Hot Springs, Ark., February 28. Three odds-on favorites Miss Strome, Red Leaf and Hilee were beaten at Oaklawn this afternoon and there was, in consequence, a howl from the people who accepted the prices. In the case of Miss Strome they were justified. She was the form of the race and would have won had not Rudy secured an advantage at the start and bad not Radtke been weaker at the finish, that was llelgersen. In this race jockey McLaughlin claimed that -Mimics Daughter had been fouled by Rudy, but the judges told McLaughlin that he was responsible for the interference. Cutter was undeniably best on public form lit the weights in the third race, as was Dave Summers clearly the liest in the closing race, so Hie people who backed Red Leaf and Hilee must have made a jumble of their figures. Jockey Radtke will have less occupation for the next six days, unless Mack" Keene decides to start a horse in every race. Starter Snyder suspended Radtke for six days for all save his contract employer. Repeated disobedience at the post was the cause. The suspension becomes effective after tomorrow. Radtke rode the last three winners today.
