DR. LYMAN RETURNS TO NEW YORK. New York, February 28. Dr. J. Grant Lyman lias returned from San Francisco and denies that "Dick" Williams, who was recently sent away from the Oakland track by the officials there, will have any connection with his stable. "Mr horses were in poor form in California." said Dr. Lyman, "ajul it was at Frank Kellys own request that I had made arrangements to turn them over .to Williams. Kelly frankly said that he was In hard luck anil could not get to show any good results and believed Williams would lie a good man to handle the horses. After Williams came under the disfavor of the officials that severed our connections, of course, and I ordered he horses to lie sold. "The only horses I have now are Geranium and Uncle Urigh, and they are in the east. Kelly will be at home soon and we cant say that our western trip was what we hoped It would be by any means."
