Last Cherry appeared the winner on the turn for home, but tired at the finish. Globe Runner was tardy in leaving the post and could not make up the lost ground in time, although she finished fast 011 the outside and gaining. Superior Boy ran well and finished gamely. Kenton ran fairly well -only.- Safeguard, stumbled on the turn for home and unseated his rider. Little Rose ran a good three-quarters. J. C.
