NOTES OF THE TURF. Accommodations for horses at Oakland are at a premium. Jockey Sam Seder is now in the employ of G. W. Baldwin. Judge A. W. Hamilton is spending a few days at Oakland before returning to his home in Kentucky for the summer. The horses of C. E. Durnell will be permitted to race when they are sold into the hands of persons In good standing on the turf. Governor Orman is on the tab of every work watcher at Hot Springs as a "real good thing" for today. He is reported to have worked extremely fast. Jockey Redfern has signed no contract for this year, but he expects to ride for James R. Keene whenever he is able to make the weight. Redfern now can ride as light as 112 pounds.
