LATONIA RACING STATISTICS. The thirty-one days of the Latonla Jockey Clubs 5 spring meeting at the splendid Kentucky course. May 30 to July 4, Inclnsive, produced to horsemen in stakes and purses a total of 25,305. The number I of races .decided was 214, of which IS were steeplechases. The winning owners numbered 157, of whom 58 won 00 or more each, George J. Austin ami E. Robinson each rode more winners. Nicol did not ride as regularly as the other two. He was at other tracks much of the time. In addition to this the steeplechasers from the Gerst barn won four races. These timber-toppers are handled by T. L. Pierce. In addition to fifteen wins, the Gerst horses on the Hat and through tlie field scored eleven seconds and eleven thirds.
