Austin who rode Doctor Dan in the first race at Latonia, July 5. 2 The parlay on Dolly Spanker, Ben-vollo and Oasis, June 30, was void as to Dolly Spanker and Benvollo and won as a single bet on Oasis and should lie paid as such. 3 The place parlay on Dolly Spanker, Lemon Girl and Bouviac lost. Rush, Helena, Ark. Having no knowledge of the rules under which the racing was conducted, cannot answer positively, but it must be assumed that in the opinion of the judges it was no race until when the horses went the course for the third and final time and bets would be decided by that running.
