Irish Mike, from a flying start, followed San Oak and appeared an easy winner in the stretch, but tired badly in the last sixteenth and Just lasted. Warden Yell made a game finish and would have won in another stride or two. San Oak showed a high turn of speed, but tired and will improve. Othmar, cut off right after the start, finished gamely. Uncle Sam, cut off in the first quarter, made up ground gamely. Bobby Sliafto was in a pocket all the way. Sir Wesley got away badly. The winner wnsenlered for $.500; no bid. Revolt went the longest way and finished well. Combury was speedy, but had no chance after the interference. Tawa-s-cntha wore herself out at the post. Im Joe closed a gap. The Sultan ran poorly.
