MONTREAL RACING STATISTICS. The Montreal Jockey Clubs inaugural meeting at Blue Bonnets track, opening June 4 and closing June 15, embraced eleven racing days, during which sixty-nine races, ten of them steeplechases, were decided, the total distribution in stakes and purses being 0,175. This was an average of a fraction more than ,2SS per day and a trille more than 524 per race. This lad is un-doubtdedly a comer, lie has been improving steadily. With the advantage of the Seagram horses, R. MeDaniel should have made a better showing.
