FIRESTONE IS TRAINING SATISFACTORILY. Firestones preparation for his eastern engagements is proceeding in a manner that is eminently satisfactory to Dr. Bowell. Trainer Rowell thinks more of Firestone than he ever did and believes that the colt will give an excellent account of himself on the eastern turf this season. He, is confident that Firestone will beat Chapultepec and horses of his type this season as easily as he did In the Double Event last year.
