MEL0DE0N A LIKELY MAIDEN. New York. May 25. — Melodeon. a promising maiden in the siring that John W ha leu is training for A.i gust Belmont, is a possible starter in the 830.000 Belmont Stakes. August Belmont woald rather « in this race than any other on the Belntsnt Park pragmas. He has won the Belmont but twice since his Stable became one of the most prominent in American racing.
