SWEEP IN NATIONAL STALLION RACE. New York. Mav 25. — Sweep, the Ben Brush — Pink Domino colt tlia* carried the spatted Jacket of James R. Keene to impressive victory at Belmont Park PHday. will he a starter in the National St.il lion Race at the Westchester Associations course May 31. Sweep may have help in the National Stallion, because among Mr. Keenes eligibles are Lvndin. a black half-brother to Commando, by Disguise; Herdsman, a son of Disguise and Pastoral, and one or two others. Sweep, a brown of fair sine and proportions, is far and away better than anything else Mr. Keene has shown this season. He looks, too. as though he might cany big weignt and hold bis own with Jolin K. Maddens Newmarket and Shannon and August Belmonts StarbotCe and Dullcare. other likely contenders. Sweep is as quick at the barrier as any youngster seen under colors this season. He sprang away lik. a tiash in his only start and tiptoed his opponents in the first quarter. And after doing thai he kept right on and was running away at the end.
