NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockjy Cash Sloan has gone to Paducah to ride. The figure at which C. Boyle acquired Detective from .Matt Allen was ,300. Henry T. Oxnard will send anotlier consignment of yearlings to market from Blue Ridge Stud in the fall. Samuel Ross of Washington expects to purchase some vearlings in the fall, and Walter Jennings will train them. Captain F. W. Presgrave has shipped the yearlings that he bought at New York recently to Salisbury. Md. Those purchased by David Dunlop have been sent to Richmond. Va.. lo be broken and tried. Beaucli-re. which won a race at Sheepshead Bay Monday after his owner. T. W. Coulter, had been suspended, was permitted to start because he had bein entered before the ruling against his owner was made. Coulter was not permitted to saddle the horse. W. .S. House att tiding to that detail. Robert Shannon, the young Kentucky trainer who left for Europe last winter, has returned to New York. Shannon handled some horses in Belgium for several months.
