CONEY ISLAND CLUB DOING ITS SHARE. New York, July 7. Commenting upon the action of the Coney Island Jockey Club In announcing the opening of various valuable Futurity fixtures for 1011 and 1012. . Schuyler L. Parsons, president of the club, has this to say: "The prizes may not be quite as rich as they have been, but New Yorkers want good racing and high-class horses. This cannot be brought about unless the stakes are sufficiently interesting to breeders, and the Coney Island Jockey Club will try to induce owners to breed the best and race them."
