AAestcrn Lady raced Olivia Miekle into defeat before going three furlongs and drew away in the stretch to win as her rider pleased. Olivia Miekle, away fast, was prominent for a half and held 011 well under a sharp drive. Emmy Lou gained steadily from a slow beginning and wore Grace Dixon down in the last furlong. Grace Dixon moved up fast in the first quarter, but was taken wide into the stretch and tired in the last sixteenth. Metzie was awav in a tangle and ran far below her best form. Canute Maid began tiring after going a quarter and had to IhT bard ridden in the stretch. Out of Step was well up for a half, but tired fast in the last furlong and was eased up near the end. Sir Edward showed the most speed for the entire trip and won in a canter. Paul Rulnart was lucky and in closest pursuit all the way, but tired near the end. Cloisteress ran in improved form under an energetic ride and held on well in the stretch. Thomas Calhoun was shuffled back soon after the start, but closed a big gap in the last half and was going fast at the end. Posing had no mishaps. Tom Holland was away slowly and seemingly disliked the stiff going, but came fast in the last quarter. Ragman tired. The winner was entered for ,000: no bid. Centre Shot set a fast pace, but had to be hard ridden for the first three furlongs to withstand All Red and the early effort told on her in the stretch drive. Lawyer Millar1 ran a good race and would liae been second with a stronger rider. Adoration showed speed, but quit in the last quarter. Lubiu was shullled back at the start and only ran fairly well. Bonnie Bard tired fast In the last half. Point Lace ran poorly. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to and bought in.
