TALK OF SECOND TRACK AT BUTTE. Butte. Jlont., July 13. There is some talk that a second race track may be built here, as a result of the discovery of an alleged weakness in the law passed by the last legislature making betting illegal, except tor thirty days annually within any one enclosure In a county of the first class. It is claimed that legal advice has been secured to the effect that the authorities cannot prevent a second thirty-day racing meet being held in Butte this season, providing another enclosure and track and other necessary accessories are secured than those in use at the present meeting. It is reported that land for another race track has been leased and that enough monev has been subscribed to put a brand new racing plant in operation by the time the present racing season expires, but the report lacks continuation.
