RACERS GATHERING AT J0LIET. Joliet. 111., August 2. D. A. Randolph of Springfield, 111., arrived at Ingalls Park today with eight thoroughbred racers that will be seen in action during the approaching mixed meeting in connection with the Will county fair. Others that have written, for stalls are: George Tuggle. Clinton. III.: Charles L. Wilson, Windsor, Ont.; W. E. Dowd. Latonia, Ky.: Henry Riuseut. Buslmell. 111.: 1. II. Morris. Highland Park, Ky.: N. B. Davis, Latonia, Ky.: Fred Schelke, Lawrenceburg. Ind., and Ed Dowd, W. II. Chapman and O. A. Arthur of Chicago. Starter Hogan, who will officiate here, passed through on his way to Windsor and stated there would he at least three carloads from Latonia. Ho was profuse in his praise of the condition of the track and grounds.
