YEARLINGS AT BR00KDALE FARM. Saratoga. N. Y.. August 24. E. C. Tavlor. manager of Harry P. Whitneys Brookdale Stud in Monmouth County. N. J., is here for a few days. There are thirty-seven handsomely bred yearlings at Brook-dale Farm under Mr. Tavlors care, but what disposition of them Mr. Whitney may make. Taylor does not know. They will not he tried out until some time in September. The yearlings are by Hamburg. Hermis. Irish Lad. Sandringham. Burgomaster, Riley and Ballyhoo Bey. The youngster by Hermis is oiit of the Eolns mare. Draw Lass, the dam of Paumonok. Mr. Whitnev purchasctl him with his dam at the dispersal sale of the Holmdel Stud last. fall. The Hermis colt is smoothly turned and agile.
