Chorry-Ia. luckily and forwardly nlaced in behind tlie pacemakers, drew out decisively midway of the stretch and won as her rider pleased. Fair Louise, away poorly, steadily improved her position into a close up and last going second. Perry Johnson, from an inside slow beginning, was reserved in. a rearward position to tin; stretch, then drew out like a shot when a sixteenth out into a cantering third and may have been liest. The Fad lost ground steadily for three furlongs, but finished with a rush. Loco ran forwardly and persistently throughout. Herkimer, from a slow start, ran into quick nearest pursuit for a half mile and mit badly In the closing drive. Magdalen, from a bad start, closed a gap and was going fast at the cud. Lucetta showed an extreme burst of early speed and led by a wide gap to the stretch, then retired precipitately. Lothario, outpaced all the way, is a good looker. The Wrestler drew out and sprcadeagled the others under a pull for the first mile, hut finished tiring. Hans ran into quick nearest and persistent pursuit of the leader and was wearing him down slowly at the end. Ronnie Kelso, luckily and forwardly placed throughout, failed in the closing drive and was palpably short. Console, away slowly and badly outpaced early, closed up well at the end and was probably short. Killle-cinukle trailed for half of the journey and finished well. The Peer, hopelessly outpaced all the way, seems in poor form. Darknight ran iworly. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to ,200 and bought by H. G. Bedwell. Simcoe, prominent for the first quarter and crowded back at the half, closed a big gap finally Into a fast going second in a cracking effort. Dreamer ran forwardly and persistently throughout, but was tiring slightly in the last hixteenth. Mary Davis, from an inside bad start, was pocketed and interfered with in the middle running, then came along on the outside with a belated stretch rush. Apache, shuffled rearward quickly, made up considerable ground. Danoscara, forced out of position at the half, made up ground in the third quarter, but quit finally. Sir John Johnson, nearly left, held forth in the rear to the stretcii and finished fast. Jving Cobalt, prominent for live and a half furlongs, failed to stay. Fleming made the running in a remarkable display of speed to the stretch and quit badly. Ruble was kicked while at the post. Donald Mncdcnnld, away slowly, steadily improved his position on the outside, closed a big gap in the last half ami drew out decisively finally. Fort Johnson, from a flying start, established a quick lead and held sway to the final sixteenth before being headed. The Squire ran in forward and persistent , pursuit throughout and is extra good, hut short. Royal Onyx, after early prominence, was interfered with, hut well up all the wnv and not quite good enough. High Range began poorly and ran into quick forward contention, but quit badly in the last quarter. Arasee, crowded out repeatedly and pulling up, was pocketed for the entire journey under a timid ride; Ontario was outpaced, but finished well. Flofield took the lead and held sway to the last turn, but tired in the closing drive. Radation. from a slow beginning, was Miitlled hack and made up ground in the last half. Monius was going well at the end. Olevla showed superior speed for half of the journey. Equation ran like a sulker, got away badly and was always outrun. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
