WINDSOR STAKE VALUES INCREASED, Number of Events for 1911 Meetings at Canadian Track Likewise Greater Than Last Year. Windsor, Out.. April S. The Windsor Fair Grounds and Driving Dark Association has made public its list of summer and autumn stake events. Instead of the seven stakes which have been offered in the past there will be eleven for this season, and all the old fixtures will be increased in value from 00 to .$."00 each. The Frontier Handicap, the feature of the opening day. hitherto has been worth ,000. This year its value will be ,500. The new stakes added to the list are: The Edenwold, for two-year-ohls. rive-eighths of a mile, named in honor of Walter O. Farmers, thoroughbred breeding establishment in Tennessee; the Walkerville Steeplechase over the full course, the St. Clair Handicap for all ages at three-quarters of a mile, and the Belle Isle, a selling stake for threo-vear-olds and over at one mile. The stakes will close May 1. The dates for the meetings are: Summer. July 15 to 22: autumn. August 2S to September 4.
