MEETING SUGGESTED FOR WEST VIRGINIA. Lexington. Ky., April S. Thornton Lewis ot Cincinnati,, manager of the Kanawha Despatch, who owns a magnificent stock farm at White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., on, which there is a half-mile track, a steeplechase course and a grandstand with a seating capacity of aliout 1,000, said while here this week that he and some of his friends and neighliors at White Sulphur Springs have, iu contemplation the formation of an association witli a view to giving an annual mooting of alvout six days at that famous summer resort. If the association is formed the first meeting will be given next August. Mr. Lewis says .that there are stable accommodations for about 200 horses at his place and in the town of White Sulphur. He would be pleased to have the opinions of experienced racing men on the feasibility of a meeting at that point.
