FAST TIME IN LEXINGTON WORK-OUTS. Lexington. Ky.. May 8. — The Kentucky Association course was alive with horses yesterday and over a fast drying out track with a good bottom some fast and excellent work was shown. The best work at three-quarters was by the three-year-old filly Diamond which went the distance in 34%, •" •%. 1:15%. Other good moves at that distance were Vogue in 1:17: Believe Me Boys in 1:17%; Green Jones Derby candidate in 1:18%; Jessie 0. in 1:18%; Irregular in 1:18%, Leo Skolny in 1:18; Katherine Kruter in 1:17%; Margaret G. in 1:17: Piff Jr. in 1:16%; Useful in 1:17%. Ormulu ran a fast mile, the Fair Play mare going the distance in 24. 49. 1:15%, 1:41%. This was the best work at the distance. Among the fastest moves at shorter distances were the following: Stevenson, throe-eighths in 3S%; Calloway, three-eighths in 30%: Hasty Mabel, three-eighths in 3S%; Mary IL. half mile in 51%; Armament, half mile in 50%; Macmonde, three-eighths in 36%; Bourbon Lass, five-eighths in 1:05; R. H. Anderson, five-eighths in 1:05; Before Dawn, half mile in 51; Past Master, five-eighths in 1:03%; Right Angle, three-eighths in 37%; Za-mora. five-eighths in 1:02%. Trevisco, K. D. Alexanders Kentucky Derby candidate, worked an exceptionally fast five-eighths when he ran the distance in 24, 49%, 1:01%.
